Orthodox Jewish women have been sporting stockings for the purpose of modesty (Tznius). Palm tights are manufactured by Brach’s Knitting Supply, as directed by the late Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum. On a quest to improve the standards of modesty for the children of his Satmar girls’ school, he founded the Palm brand in 1973 with a personal initiative and global outreach. Having personally tested its iconic texture, his holy endeavor was marked by true intentions and a pure mission. With no children of his own, the thousands of women and girls who wear the Satmar brand are protected by his promise that stemmed from a far reaching vision.

Within the fibers of each stocking lies a blessing from the Rabbi that changed Chassidic Jewry in America. Placing great emphasis on comfort, quality and longevity, he created a standard of Tznius hose for highly observant women and girls. 

The hosiery line includes several style selections, including style 60 and style 100 in the taupe color tone. Sizes are available to suit all height requirements, ranging from size XXS to XL, all available in regular as well as maternity options. Featuring super soft microfiber via breathable knitting techniques, each pair has a thigh to heel seam that can be worn on the inside or out.
